Rock musician John Mayer has revealed that he fears his obsession with Twitter.com cost him his relationship with actress Jennifer Aniston.

Mayer, 32, also revealed that Aniston, 40, found his love of blogging, social networking and modern technology a “courting distraction”.

“One of the most significant differences between us was that I was tweeting. There was a rumour I was dumped because I was tweeting too much. That wasn’t it,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Playboy magazine.

“The brunt of her success came before (showbiz news website) TMZ and Twitter. I think she’s still hoping it goes back to 1998.

“She saw my involvement in technology as courting distraction, and I always said, ‘These are the new rules’,” he added.

Sean “Puffy” Combs may find himself dragged into the case between Jennifer Lopez and her former husband Ojani Noa over the possible existence of an alleged sex tape involving the former couple.

Ed Meyer, Noa’’s business manager, said he may call Combs, who previously dated the singer for over two years, to the witness stand as part of the proceedings over Noa’’s attempt to release a video he shot of the star when they were married.

The legal team for the actress won an injunction blocking the release on the grounds that the video was private and personal.

“Ojani’’s footage is not a sex tape. In addition to kissing women, there are points where she’’s lap dancing Ojani [and others]. All with her clothes on. We”re trying to establish that it’’s not a sex tape and therefore usable in Ojani’’s movie,” the New York Post quoted Meyer as saying.

Jay Lavely, Lopez’’s lawyer, said: “Ed Meyer’’s comments are false and ridiculous. Ms. Lopez will be completely vindicated on her claims in this matter.”

1 Song Day You Were Born. Well, with the snow falling the way it has, there was no where at all to goHere are some great pix of the snow from one of the local newspapers. I did more research on ebook readers, netbooks, and the iPad. The iPad is a bit disappointing IMHO, although I do think it will push Kindle to do a bit more. Think I’m gonna go with an netbook. All the churches that I know of were closed today. Roads were terrible. Some major roads were barely passable this afternoon. State roads looked fine. Schools all over are closed tomorrow already. The Civil Rights Museum in Greensboro is still set to open tomorrow, but the gala dinner had to be postponed because of the weather. That has to be a disappointment. Couple of silly things on FB – one is what was the #1 song the day you were born. Mine *rolling eyes* was a Conway Twitty song.

Mumbai: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has finally said ‘yes’ to Gujarat. Putting an end to speculation over the entire hullabaloo surrounding his Gujarat visits, the state Chief Minister Narendra Modi finally confirmed that Mr Bachchan is the brand ambassador of Gujarat Tourism. Amitabh Bachchan in his earlier interviews had made it clear that it is only for the promotion of a progressive state that he stands by and there is nothing political about it.

Last night at the Grammy’s the Jacksons sat like a close-knit family as they watched the tribute show honouring the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker. Michael was posthumously honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award at the Grammy’s.
Even after seven months of MJ’s tragic death, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon Jackson struggle to comprehend that their brother is no more. “I still wake up every day and can’t believe my brother isn’t with us,” the Mirror quoted Jermaine, 55 as saying. Tito adds: “No matter what we’re doing – working in the studio or rehearsing dance steps – there’s an emptiness there. You feel it constantly. It’s bearing down on you.

“Emotionally it’s very difficult to sing these songs without Michael. Just to hear him on the radio today is very emotional.”

Marlon said the world might have lost its King of Pop but the Jacksons have lost their baby brother.

The 52-year-old said, “Michael was a major part of the Jackson Five and of course he was our brother long before we became famous. I don’t think people will ever understand the loss of Michael as a brother versus as a pop star. Losing a sibling is devastating.”

However, all of them feel Michael around them all the time.

Tito, 56, says: “Michael was a bright, shining light that’s been shining our whole lives. But we don’t feel the light is turned off.

Activities range from American football to marching band competitions; however, the UIL does not administer Academic Decathlon competitions. Big changes for Army Schools Pflugerville, has become a living as a restructuring and a change in classification has been changed and is the third.

16th District – 5A moved to Cedar Park Vista Ridge rare ISD schools, both in Class 4A ranks below 5A.

Pflugerville High School will enter the region, and the new entry in the Panthers league.

For the loss of schools in the Leander ISD and Pflugerville, 16 apart – 5A in a region with seven schools will be completely foreign. Hi all Round Rock district, Stony Point, McNeil, Westwood, Leander, Georgetown, and Pflugerville are included.

When in Rome` Star Kristen Bell is engaged to comedian Dax Shepard, her rep has confirmed. A source told Us magazine that Shepard, 35, proposed to Bell, 29, over the holidays. The actress showed off her ring on the Grammys red carpet Sunday, reports a news daily. “I`ve learned the necessity for healthy communication,” Bell told Women`s Health magazine in November. She added, “Your partner should hear your most embarrassing insecurities, because once you say them out loud, you`ve created a safe zone.”

The couple have been dating since January 2008.

American Idiot Musical, New York’s Great White Way is about to turn a shade of green. According to Playbill, Green Day’s American Idiot musical, which wraps up its San Francisco run on November 15th, will make the leap to Broadway. “There is a Broadway future for the show, but at this time no dates or theater are confirmed,” the show’s spokesman Michael Hartman said. Meet the cast of the American Idiot musical. The intention to move the Berkeley Repertory Theatre’s smash hit to New York was revealed November 9th, when a casting notice seeking performers for the Broadway staging of the show was made public. The notice gave no details as to when production on the Broadway American Idiot will begin, or what actors will carry over from the Berkeley Repertory run. The musical premiered in September and was eventually extended five additional weeks past its original run, making it the top-grossing show in the Berkeley Repertory Theatre’s history, Playbill writes.

Actor John Gallagher Jr., who plays the lead role Johnny in Idiot, also confirmed the news when he tweeted, “The idiots are coming to New York! Just waiting on when and where.” Gallagher didn’t state whether he would be joining the cast out east, however. As Rolling Stone previously reported, the American Idiot musical was the brainchild of both Green Day and director Michael Mayer, who previously won a Tony Award for his work on Spring Awakening along with Idiot’s producers Tom Hulce and Ira Pittelman. Mayer will also serve as director of the Broadway run.

Between the American Idiot musical and U2’s Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark, 2010 is shaping up to be a rocking year on Broadway.

Pink’s 2010 Grammy performance of “Glitter in the Air” was amazing, beautiful, and the best as of yet. Check out the video here. It is a must see, and must watch again!I usually don’t prefer Pink’s performances. It’s not that I don’t like her; she is just not one of the main artist I look forward to watching during a special event such as the Grammy’s. But between her last MTV Video Music Award performance and tonight’s Grammy’s I think she has changed my mind. Pink was beautiful and graceful as she sang “Glitter in the Air”. She was wearing a beautiful white robe, which she later removed for a body suit of white ribbon and flesh colored spandex. It really left nothing to the imagination, especially when the water works started! But she looked absolutely stunning. Her voice was amazing, and her performance was complete, once again, with some simple, yet amazing acrobatics in the air. She held on with one leg as water poured over her and she maintained the beautiful tone to her voice, never missing a beat.

Flying high above the stage, Pink and her backup dancers spun in circles and left the audience and viewers stunned. She received a standing ovation, and certainly won my respect.

Pink is up for two Grammys tonight. She lost the first nomination, but we have yet to see if she will win Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. She is up against Beyonce and Katy Perry.

London: Simon Cowell could be soon be knighted because top politicians think he should be rewarded for his “generosity and goodwill”. The 50-year-old Cowell has not only produced entertaining shows like The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent but has also given and raised millions for charity. His track for the Haiti earthquake victims, Everybody Hurts, is ready to break records and become the biggest- selling single of all time. Cowell who has recently become the patron of Children’s Hospices UK, has also promised to leave 90million pounds to good causes in his will.

And with ten Facebook sites already devoted to helping him become “Sir Simon”, it is said that a formal nomination has been sent to 10 Downing Street.
Tory leader David Cameron is reportedly a supporter of Cowell, who has backed Help for Heroes along with many children’s charities.

Even Prime Minister Gordon Brown is believed to be Cowell’s fan.

“Gordon is a good friend of Simon’s and admires all the work he does,” the Daily Star quoted a source close to the PM, as saying.

The insider added: “I’m sure he would back any attempt to get Simon knighted – if it’s not in June, then in the New Year’s Honours list.”

One Facebook fan said: “Simon Cowell does so much charity work, helping the poor in Africa and also helping with the RSPCA.

“He is a friend to animals as well as the poor.

“Nobody knows about all the great work he has done so I think this should be made public!”

Earlier, Cowell has said his chances of receiving a knighthood are “below zero” though “Sir Simon” would have a “nice ring to it”.

He said: “I never did all this to get a knighthood…. I am very lucky to do what I do and I feel privileged.”

One of Susan Boyle’s friends said: “If anyone deserves a knighthood it’s Simon. The work he does outside TV is phenomenal.”

London: Rock musician Courtney Love has revealed that she feels conflicted over her legal battle against the makers of Guitar Hero, as she’s convinced her late husband Kurt Cobain would have adored the video game. Gaming giant Activision included the late rocker as a character in Guitar Hero 5, which was released last year, allowing players to use Cobain’s image to perform a number of other artists’ songs. Nirvana stars Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic were “dismayed” that their former band mate could be seen rocking out on other groups’ hits, while Love threatened to sue over the game.

But she has now insisted that Cobain would have enjoyed playing Guitar Hero.

“What p**ses me off the most about it is I think Kurt would be fine with having five Kurt Cobains singing the (Spice Girls) song Wannabe, like, ‘Tell me what you want, what you really really want’,” the Daily Express quoted her as telling NME.

“I think he’d find that really funny.

“But at the same time it’s gross what they did. Gwen (Stefani) started the lawsuit. I have really good lawyers now and will join that lawsuit.

“There was this grey area and they f**ked the lot of us. They didn’t f**k Jack White, but they f**ked Gwen, f**ked Johnny Cash and f**ked Kurt…

Bollywood News: Thanks to his irrepressible sense of humour, Shah Rukh Khan comes across as an easy going person. But in real life the Bollywood star is little different and one of the things he is extremely finicky about is his socks. “I have a strange attachment to socks. They should feel right. I could be missing a flight, but if my socks are wrong, I have to take them off… I won’t wear nylon socks with sneakers. The only time I get disturbed during shooting is over my socks. I hate brown socks and different-coloured socks,” said Shah Rukh said in an interview to the GQ magazine.

Michael Flanagan amid fears he would be charged with involuntary manslaughter for administering the powerful sedative propofol to Jackson hours before his death, reports a news daily.

Flanagan said he was “probably the only attorney in town that has successfully tried a propofol case involving death.”

Jackson died aged 50 at his LA mansion after suffering cardiac arrest. The Los Angeles County coroner ruled his death as a homicide.

“I get nervous about everything. I am just so excited to be nominated for eight Grammys. That is sort of still unfathomable for me. I`ve never won one Grammy, so please wish
me luck. I`m performing too, so hopefully that comes together,” Swift said.

However, a source told the publication that Swift, 20, views 32-year-old Mayer, as a “mentor”.

Think back to what you did when you were 19. Maybe you just finished your freshman year in college, came home a few fudge sundaes heavier than when you left and spent the summer sleeping until noon at your parents’ place while waiting for the next party to start up. But if your name is Taylor Swift, 19 was the year you catapulted from country cutie to international megastar. Swift was already a very popular singer before last year, releasing a self-titled debut album in 2006 that has sold more than 3 million copies. But 2009 was the year she went supernova, all thanks to an album called Fearless. Released at the tail end of 2008, Fearless dominated the charts in 2009, spinning off a string of hit singles such as “Love Story,” “White Horse,” “Fifteen” and “You Belong With Me” and racking up eight Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year, while selling more than 3 million copies.

Washington: Dakota Fanning has claimed that kissing co-star Kristen Stewart in new movie `The Runaways` was not such `a big deal`. The American star plays Cherie Currie in the film about the highly influential 1970s all-girl rock band. And Fanning has now said that her onscreen smooch with co-star Kristen was anything but awkward.

London: Simon Cowell might share the judges table at X-Factor with two of Hollywood`s hottest women. Beyonce Knowles, 28, and Megan Fox, 23, are on Simon`s wish list for the American version of the reality competition series `X Factor`, according to Britain`s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden. “Beyonce would be good and Megan Fox because she has a crush on the Cowell,” Holden told a British newspaper. She also believes that ex-American Idol judge Paula Abdul, 47, will make a reappearance as a judge on the new X-Factor. “My prediction is Simon will bring Paula Abdul out of the toy box and let her play on the X-Factor panel,” she said.

Holden, who judges alongside 50-year-old Cowell on `Britain`s Got Talent`, added, “Simon and three girls would be ace, imagine the sexual tension.”

Other reports also suggest that the show has lined up Beyonce to serve as a guest judge on the UK`s X-Factor later this year.

The husband of British soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae was found dead in an apartment in Leeds, England, the BBC reports. A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to the home where they found saxophonist Jason Rae, 31, Saturday afternoon. In connection with the case, a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs, and was since released on bail, according to police. Reports say that Rae was the victim of a suspected overdose, however, results of a post mortem exam were inconclusive. Police are awaiting the results of a toxicology report, according to the BBC.

Rae had been scheduled to play a gig with his band The Haggis Horns at the HiFi Club in Leeds Sunday. The show has been canceled.

Bailey Rae, 29, and her husband met when the singer worked in as a coat room attendant at a jazz club in Leeds. They married in 2001.

Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson has impressed theatre critics who have called her debut performance at Broadway “perfect”. The 25-year-old actress is currently starring in Arthur Miller`s `A View From The Bridge` opposite Liev Schreiber, playing a 17-year-old girl in 1950s New York, Contactmusic reported.
The opening night at the Cort Theatre on Sunday was a star-studded affair with celebrities including Hugh Jackman, Naomi Watts and Heroes actor Zachary Quinto attending.

The New York Times` critic Ben Brantley compared Johansson`s performance to other stars who have appeared on Broadway in recent years, insisting that the blonde star outshone all her contemporaries.

Washington: Kirk Douglas has heaped praise on Americans for rushing to support survivors of the Haiti earthquake. The Hollywood veteran has been moved by the efforts made by his countrymen since the tremor devastated the nation earlier this month. On Friday, George Clooney`s Hope For Haiti Now telethon raised more than 57 million dollars for the relief effort. Stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Gisele Bundchen and Sandra Bullock have all offered huge cash sums to help the people of the devastated nation overcome the tragedy.

And Douglas has saluted the people of America for being so forthcoming in their response to the earthquake.

“I“m so proud of America. The response to the catastrophe in Haiti was overwhelming. I like to think of our country as being the first to respond to any tragedy in the world,” Contactmusic quoted Douglas as saying in his online blog.

“Many countries look at us as arrogant. To counteract that, we must show that we believe in helping everyone, no matter what country, no matter what religion, no matter if they hate us or love us. This is the spirit of our country for all the world to see,” he added.

I haven’t been to the past hearings and technical working groups for the anti-discrimination bill. All I know of them is that Rep. Abante (dist 6, Manila) and other conservatives told horrible, horrible lies and stereotypes about us gays. The usual stuff. These mean prudes claim that we’re intrinsically evil, and thus immoral, dangerous to children, destructive to families, yada yada yada. And that passing the bill would only empower us to destroy society itself! Of course they’re dead wrong. We are not intrinsically evil. They are just hateful, irrational, and mean people who are afraid of liberal change and the different.

Back then, this guy Abante was super strong and managed to shoot down the bill. Now, he still is, but not too strong to block its passing to the working group stage. I attended the very last of these working groups, sessions dedicated to deliberating what to change, add or remove from the draft anti-discrimination bill. This one went relatively calm, with brief but infuriating interludes from the resident Filipino and foreign catholic bigots. Previous ones were much more animated because Abante was there to be the loud and uber angry conservative congressman.

Last week’s enemies of liberty was the effeminate, maybe closet gay attorney from the CBCP and that white Republican spokesperson from ALFI—a person whom I think should be deported along with other foreign agents of bigoted beliefs. The police and the military reps were not enemies of liberty during the session. Sure, they were a bit homophobic, espoused a don’t ask, don’t tell-ish policy, but at least they overtly showed willingness to work on passing the bill with minimal changes. Very much unlike the bigots who were only there to make sure the bill gets severely weakened.

The guy from the CBCP said things becoming of an attorney for Catholic Bishops. Homosexuality is something internal, he says. But when someone acts on it, society will frown on it because of “conscientious objection”. That phrase right there can be restated as “objection based on religious grounds”. Opting to use the word conscientious makes it seem that their religious morality is the one true morality, thus making their decisions super right and everyone else wrong. From that belief, the Catholic Church thinks it has the right to be against this bill, code for “No way are we gonna let this pass! Cuz you know, we have faith that God hates gay sex”.

The gentle attorney also retardedly suggested that people and institutions be exempt from the punitive aspects of the bill if the discriminatory acts they did were committed in obeisance to religious beliefs. In obeisance to my beliefs, I rebutted that asinine statement saying that adding such clause to the bill would defeat the purpose of the bill itself. I made it very clear–like some bigshot, in front of that attorney, amidst the reps during the session itself–that the clause would enable people to circumvent justice, even after discriminating gays, as long as they say they did it out of their religion. That little performance earned me praise from none other than Risa herself. *clapping to myself, thankyoubow*

White American bigot, like many Republicans back in the US, was acti’n way evils. He said that passing the bill will: endanger children (because we’re more likely to be pedophiles – WTF!), promote public sex (this guy is insane) and criminalize human relations a. k a. being a practicing bigot. He said these f’d up things with such conviction that even the military and the police joined Risa, Jonas and me in taking this guy down a peg. Long story short, white bigot was a total loser in this session, even the police and military guys think he’s absurd.

I am of a disposition to assassinate guys like white bigot and Abante, because frankly, the world would be much better without them. But I shouldn’t. Because if I do pull it off, it might put gays in a worse light and muddle efforts for gay equality. Anyway, us libs came off that session as victors. It is a wonderful sign that the military and the police are cooperative in the further formulation of the bill. I just hope that they remain that way all throughout the process of passing it. Abante et al can be defeated as long as us libs gain stronger mass support. It’s because guys like him operate on the assumption that gays and their supporters are of such a small number that they can be pushed around. We libs, through more appeals to the masses, just have to prove him wrong. Or maybe we could just challenge them to a series of public debates and pwn their asses.

Los Angeles: She became an unwed mother at the age of 18, but Bristol Palin, the eldest daughter of controversial politician Sarah Palin has vowed to not have sex before marriage. At 19, Bristol admits that it is tough raising one-year-old son Tripp on her own adding that she wants other girls to learn from the mistakes that she made, reported Us magazine online. London: Celebrity Big Brother star Dane Bowers’ best friend has revealed that the singer went off the rails after the breakdown of his marriage. Adam Spratt, who lived with Dane for more than two years, said that the CBB star became obsessed with sex and trawled Internet sites, sleeping with up to 60 women in four months.

Spratt, 26, thinks Dane – second favourite to win the show – bedded up to five women a week, but discarded them after one-night stands.

VLADISLAV: Ashley,when did you feel first time you want to be a figure skater?
ASHLEY:I started skating when I was five years old. Many kids at my school figure skated, and I wanted to fit it so that is how I started.
VLADISLAV:What was the most difficult in learning figure skating in your childhood?
ASHLEY:It was hard for me to learn my double axel. It took me four years to learn it, and I almost quit before I got it.
VLADISLAV:It must be not easy to combine study and skating,isn’t it?
ASHLEY:For me, school provides balance in my life, so it is easy to make time for it. If I only have skating in my life it can be stressful, but school takes my mind away from skating.
VLADISLAV:About how much time does your training take you in a week?
ASHLEY:I train 6 days a week, about 3 or 4 hours on the ice and 2 off of the ice.
VLADISLAV:What competition are still memorized in your career?
ASHLEY:My first Senior Nationals was very memorable because I skated so well and I didn’t expect to place, but I did. I was very happy with my skate.
VLADISLAV:The history of figure skating has a lot of great skaters.Who is your favorite?
ASHLEY:My favorite skater is Tara Lipinski. I have always looked up to her since she won the Olympics, and now she is also my mentor.
VLADISLAV:You increase your mastery every season.Who is your main inspirer?
ASHLEY:I am inspired by the perfect version of myself that I have in my head, I hope to one day become like that, so that is what drives me.

The Pregnancy Pact True Story, Inspired by a true story, the film explores the costs of teen pregnancy with a story of a fictional “pregnancy pact” set against the backdrop of actual news reports about teen pregnancy from June 2008. As the number of pregnant girls climbs to 18, a media firestorm erupts when Time Magazine reports that the rise in the number of pregnancies at the school is the result of a “pregnancy pact.” As the mystery unfolds about whether or not “the pact” is real, Sidney soon realizes that all of the attention is disguising the much larger issues that are at the core of the story.

The award for Best Actor went to Upendra Limaye for Marathi film ‘Jogwa’, which also fetched the trophy for the Best film on social issues. Hindi film ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’ by Dibakar Banerjee was adjudged as the Best Popular Film.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra bagged the Best Actress award for her role of a aspiring model in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’ which also bagged the Best Supporting Actress Award for Kangana Ranaut who played the role of a troubled model.

The East-West Shrine Game, in Orlando for the first time Saturday, is a showcase for college football all-stars looking to boost their profiles for the NFL draft.
Orlando and the Citrus Bowl were ridiculed nationwide for poor field conditions during the Champs Sports Bowl and Capital One Bowl after a cold snap before the games prevented new grass on the field from taking properly.

Girls Just Want To Have Fun Movie, This weekend I went home for a girls night with my amazing friends in Idaho Falls! I wish I had pictures to post, because the whole night was just the greatest. We started out with pizza and lots of junk food. After was a had a little dance party with karokee (funny pictures were taken of that). We were all so wild and crazy that it made it that much more fun. After that was scary movie time! We watched “When a Stranger Calls” and screamed our lungs out. I have seen that movie so many times, but still just scream so much – i am so jumpy when it comes to those movies. When the movie was done we needed to something to lighten the mood, so we played dress-up with all of Ashleys great costumes. Lots of hilarious pictures were taken of that also. Ash and i decided to do a potatoe head dance i think it was called, so we went upstairs to get ready for that. I was in the other room and Ash screamed really loud and there was a thunk on the floor. I ran in and she was just laying on the floor. Stefan and Daniel had scared her right as she walked by the door. They had come to crash our girls night. They ended up staying for a couple hours and we all just talked. It was so much fun. We were all still so hyper and giddy in the morning too. It was a fantastic time! I just love those girls to pieces!!!

London: Hollywood actress Brooke Shields is reportedly facing a $10,000 tax bill after US officials accused her of falling behind with her payments. Executives at America`s Internal Revenue Service (IRS) filed a federal tax lien Dec 31 last year, alleging the actress and her husband Chris Henchy owe $4,391.70 in unpaid taxes from 2004, reports a website.

It’s a challenge,definitely.It’s just as hard to keep it on as it was to put in on,originally.” Next he talked a little bit about “Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” He said, Well, if you’ve read the books, you know what’s comin,but it gets exciting. There’s definitely a lot more action. No surprises. The fans no what’s comin,but it gets good.” Then he concluded,by talking about his new February movie called “Valentine’s Day,” along with Taylor Swift. When asked if Taylor Swift would be at the awards, he said, ” I’m not sure,but Valentine’s Day is comin out here soon. Another 3 weeks. I’m really excited. I’ve seen it. Ishqiya’ is surely one of the most awaited films this month, all thanks to its soul-stirring music and the promos. While the rustic appeal of the film is appearing to be one of the most exciting aspects of the film, actor Arshad Warsi says that ‘Ishqiya’ will give the audience a feel of ‘Sholay’. Talking about his upcoming release, Arshad says, “I would call ‘Ishqiya’ an Indian cowboy movie; you know the kind of films we saw with a Western theme to them. In fact, it would also give you a feel of ‘Sholay’ with this entire gaon angle to it and Naseer and me being characters similar to Jai and Veeru characters.”

“The film is quite rooted with characters like thakurs and ruffians jo sach mein bahaut gande log hain. For us `mama-bhanja` on the run, it only turns out to be a thrilling ride”, he adds.

Directed by Abhishek Chaubhey, ‘Ishqiya’ is slated for release on January 29. The film stars Arshad Warsi, Vidya Balan and Naseeruddin Shah in main roles.

Scott Brown Vs Martha Coakley, Republican Scott Brown leads Democrat Martha Coakley 48 percent to 45 percent among likely voters in the Massachusetts special election Tuesday to replace the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, according to American Research Group (ARG). The three-point Brown lead resulted in a survey of 600 likely voters that included 263 Democrats, 122 Republicans, 213 independents and two with other parties. Brown leads Coakley 94% to 1% among registered Republicans and he leads 58% to 37% among unenrolled voters. Coakley leads Brown 71% to 20% among registered Democrats. A total of 8% of Democrats and 5% of Republicans remain undecided, according to ARG. Brown leads 54% to 39% among men while Coakley leads 50% to 44% among women. Brown leads 52% to 42% among likely voters age 18 to 49 and Coakley leads 47% to 46% among voters 50 and older. A total of 9% of likely voters say they have already voted by absentee ballot, with Brown leading Coakley 58% to 42%.

Country music hitmaker Carl Smith dies at 82 FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Carl Smith, a country music hitmaker of the 1950s and 1960s known for his dynamic voice and good looks, has died. He was 82. Williamson Memorial Funeral Home says Smith died Saturday at his Tennessee home. Smith had 41 chart singles during the 1950s, including the hits “Are You Teasing Me,” ”Back Up Buddy,” and “Hey Joe!” He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2003. Smith was a member of the Grand Ole Opry but left in 1956 to try his hand at acting. He appeared in two westerns, “The Badge of Marshal Brennan” and “Buffalo Gun.”

From 1964 to 1969, he hosted 190 episodes of “Carl Smith’s Country Music Hall” on Canadian television.

Smith, the father of country artist Carlene Carter, married fellow singer Goldie Hill in 1957. She died in 2005.

That’s the word from longtime friend and confidante Cassandra Gretchen-Sims, a writer and producer who as late as last April was known by Hollywood and recording-industry insiders to be working hand-in-glove with the pop star on a secret movie script that, she says, “Michael envisioned as part fact, part fantasy – the story of the person he is and the person he wants to be, and it included the death hoax that is playing out in reality today.” Gretchen-Sims, 52, also reports that contrary to the belief of many, Jackson “is all man with completely normal and wholesome sexual desires and appetites.” This is a bombshell revelation that, she contends, “should dispel rumors about his psychological and emotional makeup.

“Michael Jackson is not now nor has he ever been a pedophile or abuser of children. He is a wonderful and entirely masculine … a terrific father and a good human being.

“I want everyone to know that I am the messenger for Michael, but I have nothing to gain financially from this because he paid me in advance for my work with him several years ago – that is behind us,” she told Your World Report exclusively.
