New Mexico Soccer Elizabeth Lambert.1jpgNew Mexico Soccer Elizabeth Lambert, New Mexico football defender Elizabeth Lambert has been suspended indefinitely from all team practices, competition and fitness activities Carlee Payne after hitting back, kicking the ball into another player’s face and pulling Kassidy violently to the ground by Shumway his ponytail.

The incidents in question occurred during a game of Mountain West women’s soccer semifinal between Brigham Young and New Mexico on Thursday, November 6th. Surprisingly, Lambert remained in the field, receiving a yellow card from referee Joe Pimentel, near the end of the game for a player’s shot from Brigham Young.

Video of numerous violations of Lambert was viral and perhaps led him to say: “I am deeply and sincerely sorry for my actions …. I let my emotions get the better of me in a heating situation … This is not in as indicative of my character or the football player I am. ”

For the record, BYU won 1-0, extending its unbeaten streak to 15 games.
