Hollywood.com caught up with Harris to find out more about what to expect from a show about expecting.

Hollywood.com: Cooper’s personality is so much about her quick-witted delivery. What prepared you most for that part of the role?
Rachael Harris: I think that my favorite comedians have always been like Betty White and Teri Garr and Madeline Kahn and those women tended to be understated in their deliveries in my opinion. I was on The Best Week Ever and we always gave sort of witty comments, I would hope. It certainly didn’t come from my parents!

HW: Do you relate to one of the female characters more than the others, Lauren the hesitant and confused mother-to-be, ever-optimistic and also pregnant Julie or career driven Cooper?
RH: Wow, I would have to say I can relate to all three of them and that’s not just to say that. My husband and I are in the middle of trying to decide when we want to have a child and we’ve gone back in forth like “Do we?” So in that regard I can really relate to Jen Westfeldt’s character. Then I am a bit of an optimist so I really relate to Julie, but then as far as Cooper goes I like to think that I’m very direct and I do get annoyed easily.

HW: The audience can relate to many of the scenes in the show. Have you ever figured out a friend was pregnant over a coffee order?
RH: Yes, I did that with my very best friend … we went out to lunch and we were eating and she had a decaf ice tea or something and it was just a little too off and I was like, I had known she had been trying to get pregnant, but it had been over a year, so I said “Are you pregnant?” She’s like “Yes, but you cannot tell anyone. I just found out a couple of days ago.” So I can completely relate to it.

HW: You used to do improv with the Groundlings comedy troupe, do you get the chance to ad lib at all these days?
RH: Actually my favorite thing is to have a scripted show that allows you to improvise within that script. That way you can say “Hey, can I do this line this way?” That’s what was great about Stacy [Traub] and Barry is they would say “Yes, say it however it is going to be funniest. Funny trumps writing” … It is really the best because then you can really make it your own in the moment.

HW: Comedy has been your focus on stage, television and in the movies, would you consider a dramatic role?
RH: Absolutely. I started out thinking I was going to go to Broadway and do nothing but ‘night Mother … my professor said “I think you should investigate comedy more. I think you are funny,” so when I went to L.A. and did the Groundlings I was like “I get it” because I loved it so much … but I am completely comfortable doing drama and would love to do it.

HW: You’ve worked with some of the funniest guys in showbiz, including Steve Carell, Will Ferrell and Jon Stewart. What’s it like working with comedic geniuses?
RH: You know what’s great about all three of them is that they are all very serious about comedy [laughs]. I like it because they are very professional and very particular. These are very naturally gifted men in my opinion, but they are also perfectionists and they will do it until they get it right. They are always open to trying new things. The thing about Steve is he really is one of the nicest people I’ve ever worked with and whether you are a crew member or you are Morgan Freeman he treats everyone the same and he is genuinely interested … I didn’t work with Jon as much as I worked with Will and Steve just because of the nature of the show. I think they all genuinely care about the people that work with them and … just that they can come up with anything funny on the spot. Will can make anything funny, like “I’m going to open up the fridge and get a bottle of water out.”

HW: You recently worked on a comedy with Steve called Evan Almighty. What character did you play?
RH: I played Markie Parkington one of six reporters that were reporting while Evan was building the ark. I was the one who has the entertainment bent … I was trying to be like an Entertainment Tonight reporter, but there was no entertainment value. There were no celebrities, so I would say things like “What does Hollywood think about Evan building this ark? We’ll check in with Danny Bonaduce and Hank Azaria right after this.” She was over the top and I wore an orange cone colored suit that was pretty fierce. That was an amazing shoot because we were in Virginia for over eight weeks and saw the most exotic animals while working on that set.

HW: You worked on the Daily Show with Steve, what was it like to team up again?
RH: Steve is so good. I’m gushing, he’s really one of my favorite comedic actors and I shouldn’t even say comedic, he is just one of my favorite actors … we did a segment [on The Daily Show] called “We Love Showbiz” and he was brilliantly funny and so nice. We did a pilot together later. We did Andy Richter’s pilot the Lunchbox Chronicles together and he just killed me he was so funny. He is so nice and I just gush about him, so really this should be the Rachael Harris gushes about Steve Carell interview!

A new Ohio State University custodial employee who received a bad job evaluation shot two co-workers in a campus-maintenance building, killing one of them, and then fatally shot himself, officials said Tuesday.

No students were hurt and classes went on as scheduled.

The shooting was first reported at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Brown, 51 years old, was pronounced dead at Ohio State University Medical Center several hours later, Mr. Denton said.

One of the victims, building-services manager Larry Wallington, 48, died at the scene. The other victim, operations-shift leader Henry Butler, 60, was in stable condition at Ohio University Medical Center, officials said.

In Tanu Weds Manu Saroj Khan made me do the typical Bollywood jhatkas and matkas. It was fun. It will also be the first time that I will be seen in an all-Indian look in a film wherein I wear mostly kurtis and mojris.

Both No Problem and Tanu are comedies. What do you have to say to your new avatar, that of a romantic comedienne?
I know I started off with doing dark, intense roles that received critical acclaim. But an actor has to move on. I had a great time doing the light-hearted films. It brought out a side that even I did not know I had! Thanks to director Anees Bazmee and Aanand Rai.

Are you enjoying playing a cop in Crooked?
It was destined that I do the film. I had declined the film earlier because of date problems but because of a change in schedule in the shoot it came back to me. I have just started shooting for it…. Yes, it looks as if I am going to enjoy being on the other side of the law.

At what stage of production is your film Actor with Amitabh Bachchan?
I believe that the makers are trying to sort out Amitabh Bachchan’s dates. Once that is done, we start shooting.

Is it true that you have no scenes with Sanjay Dutt in Sohail Maklai’s Knockout?
Yes that’s true. Knockout is a political drama and Sanjay plays a man who takes on the political system from within. I may not have any scenes with him but at I am happy being part of a very intense film.

Your character in Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbai also sounds interesting.
A lot of thinking went into creating this character of an actress, who is a don’s girlfriend. She is very glamorous and influenced by Western fashion. So I wanted to create a look which is western, but suits someone Indian. It is an intriguing mix of Audrey Hepburn’s, Sophia Loren’s, Asha Parekh’s and Sadhana’s styles. There are a lot of high-waist narrow trousers and scarves. It’s a ‘70s look without being comical.

Is there any style you would like to bring back from the 70s?
Skirts! The kinds worn then were very feminine, practical and elegant. I would like to see more girls wearing them.

Are you anxious that you are not seen in the publicity of Kites?
I have a guest appearance in the film, and it is up to the producers how they want to project me. There is nothing to be anxious about.

So let’s talk about this.

Tonight’s episode was really light on Dan and Vanessa as they were nowhere to be found, so I’ll start with them. Now that Dan finally confessed his feelings to Vanessa, she is the one that’s not ready. How long will they make us wait until these two finally get together, seriously! (FYI, check out the episode photos for next week’s episode “The Lady Vanished” for your answer)

After being MIP for a while, Rufus finally comes back and confronts Lily about what she did with her ex-husband. When he learns that she shared a kiss with him, he decides that he needs some time to think and goes to see Holland. Hypocrisy, thy name is Rufus.

Nate and Serena finally got it on! I have to admit I have been rooting for these two for a very long time, and the episode got be worried for a second there that things might not work out, again. But thankfully, they were able to make it work, at least for a little while. I wonder how long these two will last…

Jenny is not getting any smarter is she? She keeps going down, down, down the rabbit hole. Even after Damien totally screwed her over, she still wants to continue seeing him and doing “business” with him, oh and that would be the drug business. Not smart Jenny, not smart.

But the most interesting storyline of the episode, had to be Chuck meeting Elizabeth Fisher who turns out is in fact his mother!!! Not too big of a surprise since it was sort of hinted at in the last episode, but still. I wonder how that whole relationship’s going to evolve.

Overall, it was just great to see the whole gang back on screen with the drama and secrets full on. I can’t wait for next week.

And on a final note, I do have to mention the French Ambassador’s daughter who can’t speak French to save her life. Could they really not find a French actress for the part? I’m just saying.

Backup quarterback Seneca Wallace has been traded from Seattle to Cleveland for a future draft pick.

The move was first reported by John Clayton of ESPN, but has been subsequently confirmed. The Seahawks will receive an undisclosed pick in next year’s draft, according to the team’s announcement of the trade. The pick is located in the latter half of the draft, but could not be specified beyond that. There are stipulations to the trade, however, that could improve the pick based upon Wallace’s performance in 2010.

The team’s release announcing the trade included the following statement from general manager John Schneider:

“This will give Seneca a chance for a fresh start. The Browns front office’s familiarity with his abilities will give him an opportunity to compete for playing time. We wish him nothing but the best.”

and the exact round that pick is in may depend upon Wallace’s performance in 2010.

Seattle chose Wallace in the fourth round in 2003, drafting him after Mike Holmgren and Seattle’s coaches worked with him during the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. That was significant because at the time of the draft a number of NFL executives openly said he should be trying another position.

Drafted in Seattle strictly as a quarterback, Wallace eventually worked his way up the depth chart and became the Seahawks’ backup quarterback in 2005 after Trent Dilfer was traded to Cleveland. Now, Wallace is headed to Cleveland, where Mike Holmgren is the president and Gil Haskell works in the front office.

Holmgren has considered his quarterback a top priority, but just where Wallace fits into that equation remains unclear.

Derek Anderson has a roster bonus coming up this month, which Cleveland may release him to avoid paying. Brady Quinn is also on the roster.

Wallace provides Cleveland with someone familiar with Holmgren’s format of offense.

In Seattle, Wallace started in place of an injured Matt Hasselbeck in three of the previous four seasons. The Seahawks’ record was 5-9 with Wallace as starting quarterback.

He appeared to struggle in the transition to a new offensive coordinator last season, and this year would be playing in his third different offensive system in three years.

LOS ANGELES: Oscar Winners 2010 List, “The Hurt Locker,” a little-seen war film with big backing from the critics, pushed past “Avatar” and other crowd-pleasers to win the best picture Oscar at a Sunday night ceremony here, while its director, Kathryn Bigelow, became the first woman to win the directing award.

“Avatar” and “The Hurt Locker” had come into the night as favorites, but the smaller film took the prize from the bigger in the end.

“There’s no other way to describe it, it’s the moment of a lifetime,” said Ms. Bigelow in accepting her award. It was presented by Barbra Streisand, who announced it with the words, “Well, the time has come.”

Mark Boal, a producer of “The Hurt Locker,” said of his modest expectations when the movie was shot back in 2007, “Hopefully, we would find a distributor and somebody might even like the movie.”

There was no mention of a last-minute embarrassment in which a fellow producer of the film, Nicolas Chartier, had been banned from the show for violating Oscar rules by urging academy members by e-mail messages to vote against a film assumed to be “Avatar,” which had the advantage of a vast budget and enormous popularity.

In a sense, the awards season had shaped up into a showdown between James Cameron, who directed “Avatar,” and Ms. Bigelow, who was previously married to Mr. Cameron.

Among other winners, Christoph Waltz took best supporting actor at the start of a sluggishly paced ceremony for his bilingual performance as a Jew-hunting Nazi officer in “Inglourious Basterds.” And also, as expected, Mo’Nique won for best supporting actress for her portrait of a terrifying mother in “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire.”

With no excess of modesty, Mo’Nique thanked the academy’s members for showing that “it can be about the performance, not the politics.” The remark was a reference not just to her considerable talent, but to the fact that she had refused to spend time playing the usual Oscar campaign game. Backstage, she blamed the media for trying to stir up a controversy.

Jeff Bridges, a multiple nominee and now first-time winner, took best actor for his gritty portrayal of a broken-down country singer in “Crazy Heart.” A darling of the Hollywood crowd, Mr. Bridges had been seen as the designated winner almost from the moment Fox Searchlight made a last-minute decision to drop the low-budget movie into the Oscar race. “Thank you, Mom and Dad, for turning me on to such a groovy profession,” said the gray-bearded Mr. Bridges, who brought the crowd to its feet in a prolonged ovation as he whooped, hollered and showed obvious joy in the moment.

“Crazy Heart,” one of the evening’s smaller contenders, also took an Oscar for its theme song, “The Weary Kind,” by Ryan Bingham and T Bone Burnett.

Sandra Bullock, who had been pointed toward an Oscar since winning a bellwether Screen Actors Guild award, won best actress for her performance as a tough and loving contemporary Southern mother in “The Blind Side.” Like Mr. Bridges, she was clearly a favorite of those in the auditorium, though she had never been nominated before and had been best known for romantic comedies like “The Proposal” and the occasional action film, like “Speed.”

“Did I really earn this, or did I just wear you all down?” Ms. Bullock asked her cheering peers.

“Up in the Air” was shut out, although the movie, about a corporate operative who specializes in firing people, had propped up the long awards season with appearances at various prize ceremonies on both coasts and in England by George Clooney, its star, and Jason Reitman, the writer-director.

The show clocked in at a relatively long three hours and 32 minutes, but at times it felt longer than it actually was. That was mostly because the first half was loaded with clip samples and retrospectives, while the latter part moved along with the speed that one of its producers, Bill Mechanic, had promised in advance.

Before the bigger awards were announced, there was a trip back to “The Dark Knight,” as Morgan Freeman explained how sound editors handled a movie from an earlier year, and a lengthy string of excerpts from horror movies, in an effort to reach fans who do not find movies like the “Twilight” series on the show.

Vijaya Lakshmi Nehru Pandit (Kashmiri: ??????????? ????? ?????) (18 August 1900 – 1 December 1990) was an Indian diplomat and politician, sister of Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

In 1921 she married Ranjit Sitaram Pandit, who died on 14 January 1944. She was the first Indian woman to hold a cabinet post. In 1937 she was elected to the provincial legislature of the United Provinces and was designated minister of local self-government and public health. She held the latter post until 1939 and again from 1946 to 1947. In 1946 she was elected to the Constituent Assembly from the United Provinces.

Following India’s independence from the British in 1947 she entered the diplomatic service and became India’s ambassador to the Soviet Union from 1947 to 1949, the United States and Mexico from 1949 to 1951, Ireland from 1955 to 1961 (during which time she was also the Indian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom), and Spain from 1958 to 1961. Milton Hershey students call school’s commercial a winner , Sydnee Allen had to sit through two and a quarter hours of the Academy Awards telecast on Sunday night before she got to see herself on TV.

She and the 11 other sophomore girls who live in the Glenview home at the Milton Hershey School were sitting on the couch, waiting to see the commercial aimed at bringing a national spotlight to the residential school for financially or socially impoverished children.

The girls were excited at the beginning, commenting on the stars’ appearance. “Why does he have that bed head?” one asked about Zac Efron.

“I don’t care about his hair. He’s beautiful,” Sydnee retorted.

They cheered at mentions of the movies they favored — “Precious” and “Up.”

They laughed and joked during the award presentations for best supporting actress, art direction, screenplay and others, but they shushed one another when the commercials came on, hoping to catch a view of their school.

“It’s like the Super Bowl. We’re watching for the commercials,” relief houseparent Gina Daniel said.

They sat through commercials for J.C. Penney, McDonald’s, the iPad, Coke, Hyundai, American Express. ¶

“Not toilet paper,” Sydnee groaned at a Cottonelle commercial.

They started to yawn. Several slumped over on each other, catching naps between the commercials.

“Don’t they know we have bedtime around here?” Sydnee asked plaintively.

The girls get up at 5:30 a.m., houseparent Rick Bell said. Normally, they’re in bed by 9:30 p.m.

The Milton Hershey School commercial finally aired about 10:15 p.m. to shrieks of “There it is!”

In the commercial, some of the children who live at the school talk about a great man named Milton Hershey and what the school means to them.

Sydnee’s face flashed on the screen, with a big smile, her shiny silver braces punctuated by pink rubber bands. She shrieked.

“I’m so excited,” she said.

Afterward, her housemates hugged her and gave her high fives, then headed to bed.

The commercial was paid for by The Hershey Co. and is intended to bring awareness to the school, attracting more children who could use its services and more houseparents to watch over them. It could also be good public relations for the chocolate company.

Sydnee said she thinks the commercial will serve its purpose.

Even though the hours of footage the filmmakers shot were reduced to a few seconds, she thought it was effective. She said the school has given her chances she would not otherwise have.

“Not a lot of people know about this school, but they should,” she said.

Both the 30-second spot and a longer version will air in the coming weeks. Both versions also will be available at www.thehersheylegacy.com.

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Washington Capitals have acquired center Eric Belanger (buh-LAHN’-zhay) from the Minnesota Wild for a second-round draft pick.

The deal was done Wednesday, before the NHL’s deadline.

The 32-year-old Belanger will be a free agent this summer. He has 13 goals and 22 assists in 35 games, ranking seventh in the NHL with wins on 57.6 percent of his faceoffs.

After a year of nasty partisan wrangling during which outnumbered Republicans proved that they couldn’t be outgunned, Obama formally proposed his compromise package, one that the White House argued incorporated many GOP ideas. To get it passed, congressional leaders will have to use reconciliation, a process that requires just simple majorities, thus diminishing the GOP’s minority  power.

Nissan is recalling nearly 540,000 vehicles because of brake pin and/or fuel gauge problems, the Japanese automaker announced Wednesday.The recall affects six Nissan models (Titan, Armada, Frontier, Pathfinder, Quest, and Xterra) and one Infiniti model (the QX56). Without naming names, Motorola’s Canadian outpost dropped some teasers today that versions of all three of its midrange Blur-powered Android handsets for GSM networks — the Backflip, DEXT, and Quench — will be coming to the country in the first half of 2010. What’s more, they’ll be hitting “all three national wireless carriers” — a little bit of a slap for Mobilicity and WIND, yes, but generally good news for the overwhelming majority of subscribers. Perhaps the most interesting bit here is that they’ve called out the DEXT by name, continuing Moto’s tradition of going with European branding over American for its Canadian launches, a trend started by Telus’ Milestone. We don’t yet know which carrier will get which phone, what they’ll retail for, or precisely when they’ll be on shelves, but needless to say, the Google-powered situation north of the border just got a whole lot prettier.

FAMU sextape link is the worst thing to happen in an educational institution. I was on Twitter last night and I kept seeing people being outraged over FAMU. I had no idea what it was about so I posed the question of ”What happened at FAMU? I’m outta the loop like a square peg.” Within a minute, 15 people responded to me saying there was a sextape featuring FAMU students in an orgy. A couple of those even provided me with the link.

I clicked on it and saw this grainy, low budget video (as expected). The first shot was of a dude tongue chexing a chick who was back to the camera. Then the camera showed the room had about 4 or 5 other people, all performing tongue chex on each other. iCringed. It didn’t help that none of them was particularly attractive, but that’s neither here nor there. Then the video started getting slow and pausing. Finally about 2 minutes in, the chextape just froze. I took it as the universe’s way of saying “You don’t need to be watching this.”

I went back to Twitter and said my ONLY prayer was that all these students used condoms. Everyone who had watched it fully went on to tell me that there was DEFINITELY some unprotected sex going on. They mentioned that yes, some used condoms, but not all. Source thefreshxpress.com

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Wednesday termed the solution of long outstanding issues, including Kashmir with India, a prerequisite for durable peace in the region which will enable Pakistan to single mindedly focus on quelling militancy on its western borders.

While appreciating Norwegian assistance in establishment of 350 community schools in FATA and for improvement of basic education in NWFP, the Prime Minister underlined the imperative of rebuilding the physical and socio-economic infrastructure in those areas and provision of job opportunity to the people there on immediate basis and underlined friendly countries like Norway’s important role in that regard.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan considers Norway an important friend and partner and is keen to enhance and further strengthen the cordial bilateral ties in all areas of mutual interests.

He hoped that the annual bilateral consultations under the framework of Bilateral Cooperation would be held on regular basis to make progress towards strengthening of political, trade and economic cooperation.

The Prime Minister underscored the need for expansion of bilateral trade to attain its true potential and welcomed Norwegian Company Telenor’s plans to invest $ 2 billion in Pakistan over the period of next five years.

He expressed the hope that the Norwegian government would also encourage its major companies in oil and gas, petroleum, chemicals, pharmaceutical, fertilizers as well as iron and steel manufacturing sectors to invest in Pakistan independently or through joint ventures with their Pakistani counterparts.

As Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison herself commented, her party had tried hard enough to win, but could not hold ground. this may be attributed to the growing hostility towards Washington, and the fact that the Governor’s campaigns had colored her completely in the hues of the White House. At the election party held after he was chosen Governor once more in the Texas election 2010, Rick Perry promised that the state would not allow entry to “Washington politics.”

PESHAWAR: The Supreme Court (SC) issued notice to a junior clerk of Pakistan Post Office Department for making assets worth millions of rupees, Geo News reported Wednesday.

The SC bench comprising Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry and Justice Ijaz Ahmed, was hearing a case regarding the unpaid pension of late government employee Fareedullah at SC bench.

The CJ Chaudhry said the court would not relent on corruption-related matters.

The court queried the counsel of the woman clerk as wherefrom his client attained this huge amount of money, adding the court would not refrain from strict verdicts for speedy dispensation of justice.

The CJ said in this remarks that redtape culture would not be allowed in pension cases, adding strict decisions have to be taken for the speedy justice.

Fareedullah passed away in year 2000; however, his family has not received his pension as yet.

Peshawar High Court (PHC) issued the orders regarding the payment of Fareedullah’s pension. Later on, the concerning department of Textbook Board filed an appeal in the apex court against payment of pension to the late government employee.

However, the bench consisting of CJ Chaudhry and Justice Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmed sustained the PHC verdict.

Medivation, Inc. (NASDAQ: MDVN) is the next biotech implosion. The company’s highly awaited Phase III study on its Alzheimer drug called Dimebon did not meet expectations. It failed to meet primary and secondary endpoints. The problem is that this was hitting 52-week highs yesterday.

The company did note that a separate Phase 3 safety study demonstrated Dimebon’s tolerability when used alone or in combination with approved Alzheimer’s Disease medicines. Just one more problem… if it doesn’t work it doesn’t matter how tolerable it is. In some cases the placebo group even did better on the sugar pill, which is perhaps the worst endorsement a company can get.

March 3 (Bloomberg) — U.S. companies in February cut the fewest jobs in two years, according to data from a private report based on payrolls.

The 20,000 decline was in line with forecasts and followed a revised 60,000 drop the prior month, data from ADP Employer Services showed today. Over the previous six months, ADP’s initial figures have overstated the Labor Department’s first estimate of private payroll losses by as little as 10,000 in January to as much as 151,000 in November.

Looks like Verizon Wireless is the latest mobile carrier to suffer from an outage – this time with their slew of BlackBerry devices, and it is a rather huge issue since this outage is of seemingly nationwide proportions, although there are still folks in various pockets of civilization Stateside that can still retrieve and send their email over BlackBerry. Verizon does not know when the situation will be corrected, so the only thing you can do now is keep your fingers crossed that all will be fixed shortly. In the meantime, the world still goes on even though you receive your email a fraction slower than push over your Gmail account.

Nissan Recall

Despite no reported accidents or injuries, here’s everything you need to know about the big Nissan recall announced today.

540,000 cars have been recalled by Nissan Motor over faulty brake pedal issues that may also affect the fuel gauge.

As the AFP reports this morning, the recall covers “the Titan, Armada and Infiniti QX56 built from 2005 to 2008, and the Frontier, Pathfinder and Xterra produced between January and March 2006 and between October 2007 and January 2008.” The brake pedals could have faulty components that can cause the pedals to wobble, AFP reported.

Navy chief Nirmal Verma, who was in Bhopal, said the pilots had not ejected. “So the possibility is either time wise there was a problem or they (the pilots) were making all efforts to ensure that damage is minimised to any civil area. They are no more,” he said.

“The inputs that I have got is that about seven people are injured,” he said, adding, “I have to wait for more information. It is premature for me to say what could have caused the crash at this stage.” An inquiry has been ordered, he added.

The pilots were Commander SK Maurya and Lt Commander Rahul Nair, a navy spokesman said in New Delhi. Nair belongs to Delhi.

The charred bodies of both the pilot and co-pilot were removed by defence personnel. “Four people on the ground were injured. They have been shifted to hospital,” Hyderabad Police Commissioner AK Khan told reporters at the crash scene.

Khan said the plane crashed into the residential building which had a cellphone tower on top. A car parked outside the building was smashed as one of the plane’s wings fell on it. The whole area has been cordoned off and fire brigade personnel used Aviation Film Forming Foam (AFFF) to cover the oil spillage on the building.

AP Chief Minister K Rosaiah conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members of the pilot and co-pilot who were killed in the crash, according to an official release from the Chief Minister’s office here.

The Chief Minister asked the air show organisers and others to take utmost care and prevent such accidents during the show which are being witnessed by a large number of people.

United States Ambassador to India Timothy J Roemer also condoled the death of the pilots. “What began as such a promising day has sadly ended so tragically. As the full extent of tragedy is still becoming known, all our thoughts and prayers are with those who lost their lives or were injured and with their families,” he said. Roemer is in Hyderabad leading the American delegation to the air show.
